Bendigo Hills Wine Scenic.jpg

The “Bendigo Hills” refers to the north facing semi-arid terraces of the Bendigo grape growing sub-region of Central Otago.

With our organic vineyard perched 400m above sea level we are growing grapes on the edge in this challenging continental climate. But making great wine is never easy and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

The Bendigo Hills wine brand is named after these semi-arid north facing terraced slopes. The fruit is sourced from an organically certified vineyard in the Bendigo sub-region of Central Otago, planted in 2003.

From handpicked fruit these wines sit in the premium category. Our flavour profile is all about fruit intensity and bright acidity with enough tannin/phenolic structure to provide agebility. These wines are approachable for everyday drinking but will reward cellaring for 5+ years. For those seeking the perfect culinary pairing, our wines match any cuisine beautifully.
